Today we celebrate our colleagues at Aisin USA Mfg., Inc. (AUM) who recently received the prestigious Special Recognition Award for Excellence in Partnership from Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA). SIA is Subaru’s only manufacturing facility outside of Japan and currently makes the Ascent, Crosstrek, Legacy and Outback models for North America.

AUM earned this honor by meeting and exceeding customer expectations, as the Special Recognition award criteria includes “above and beyond effort as identified by SIA management.”

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the highest achievers in our supply chain,” said Scott Brand, president and chief operating officer at SIA. “Each has demonstrated a commitment to excellence that is evident in every aspect of their quality and delivery.” SIA has recognized 24 suppliers for exceptional performance over the past year.

“With nearly 260 suppliers supporting our operations, this is an elite group that has separated themselves from their peers,” said Brand. “We value their shared vision and dedication to consistently perform at a high level.”
