NORTHVILLE TWP., Mich., April 24, 2025 – AISIN Corporation, a top 10, global Tier One supplier of automotive components and systems, today announced a number of changes to its executive team in North America, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Scott Turpin, president & COO, AISIN World Corp. of America (AWA), who outlined the following:
Eyram Adadevoh appointed Corporate Counsel—Contracts, Legal Affairs Department
John Fontes promoted to vice president, Sales & Marketing, North America
Kazumi Hase promoted to vice president, Finance & Corporate Planning Department

John Fontes
As vice president, AWA Sales & Marketing, Fontes oversees the interface between AWA and AISIN’s North American plants to meet quality, delivery and customer satisfaction standards. Fontes and his team are principally responsible for OE sales, maintaining overall customer relationships across all product groups and product planning in North America.
Fontes began his career at AISIN as a sales engineer in 2007. Most recently, he was general manager, OE Sales and Marketing, responsible for engine, drivetrain and chemical for body as well as function, electronics, and safety products in the company’s Seating Business Group.
In 2003, Fontes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University’s College of Engineering. He replaces Brad Owens, senior vice president, who now leads the AWA Purchasing and Business Administration departments.

Kazumi Hase
As vice president, Finance & Corporate Planning, Hase is responsible for ensuring that accurate financial data and financial information is presented to the AWA executive management team. Hase is active in the AWA Corporate Planning Department, oversees company tax obligations, and supports the finance departments of AISIN’s North American plants and facilities.
Hase, a CPA, joined AISIN in 2015 and most recently was general manager in the Finance & Corporate Planning Department. Previously she was tax director at PwC in Chicago. Hase earned a bachelor’s degree in Education at Shinshu University in Nagano, Japan, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Michigan State University in East Lansing.

Eyram Adadevoh
Adadevoh joined AISIN’s Legal Affairs Department in December 2024, as Corporate Counsel and international contracts lawyer, and is dedicated to optimizing legal outcomes for AISIN’s locations in North America and supporting business growth on a global scale. She is a 10-year veteran in the practice of law with Bar admissions in the State of New York and the Republic of Ghana, and has diverse, international experience in the oil and gas, aerospace and defense industries.
Adadevoh recently served as director of legal affairs at a leading aerospace test equipment manufacturer, where she led company-wide legal operations, specializing in government contracting, global trade compliance and contract lifecycle management. Her expertise extends to risk analysis and regulatory compliance, ensuring contractual obligations align with legal and corporate standards.
Adadevoh earned a Master of Laws degree in Energy & Natural Resources from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012; a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland in 2011; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2008.
