As the line between car and computer continues to blur, AISIN Group is developing technology that supports a safe, comfortable and intuitive driving experience. AISIN’s facial recognition technology can prevent accidents by learning and tracking the driver’s face to detect distracted or impaired driving. Products like Intelligent Parking Assist integrate AISIN’s car navigation systems and image processing technologies to produce a hands-free and/or autonomous valet parking experience. And each day, AISIN’s team of R & D experts from around the world work tirelessly on developing the technology of tomorrow as we look toward the future of mobility.
AISIN recently opened a Plano, TX based epicenter for our North American Connected and Sharing Solutions (CSS) activities. The CSS team is constantly researching the very latest in mobility technology and innovation, so please visit their website for the most recent news!

Ultrasonic Sensors Added to Conventional System, Provides Parking Spot Detection and Automatic Steering in Parking Maneuvers
The combined functions of parking space line recognition using rear camera, as well as vehicle detection technology that utilizes front ultrasonic sensors to detect other parked vehicles, enable the system to estimate the physical dimensions of the vacant parking space and set the target parking position
The system greatly simplifies the process of establishing the parking position and making adjustments, then provides automatic steering to the parking spot. This results in greater usability of the system
*Jointly developed with Toyota Motor Corporation *Ultrasonic sensors are developed by Denso Corporation
