Gas Heat Pump Air conditioner (GHP)

AISIN’s Gas Heat Pump Air conditioner is a cutting-edge air conditioning system which operates on clean burning gaseous fuel such as natural and propane gas, and uses 100% non-ozone-depleting refrigerant, R410A. Since it uses gas, AISIN GHP helps to optimize environmental efficiency while reducing peak electricity demand in summer.

Micro Combined Heat & Power (mCHP)

AISIN Micro Combined Heat & Power (mCHP) is a cogeneration system which enables utilization of the electricity and the heat produced during simultaneous electrical generation. The heat can be utilized for domestic hot water and/or space heating to achieve more efficient energy use.  AISIN Micro Combined Heat & Power (mCHP) is sized for residential or small commercial use and contributes to lower utility costs and carbon emissions.

AISIN’s Residential Clean Energy Project

AISIN Technical Center of America and AISIN World Corp. of America’s Energy Solutions department have teamed up to work on a residential clean energy project.  The recently installed AISIN mCHP unit can produce up to 1.5 kilowatts (kW) of electricity and 12,300 BTU of heat.  This was combined with approximately 1.9 kW of solar power via a battery back-up system.  This solar array will provide power on sunny days and allow the natural gas AISIN Coremo to produce the power anytime the sun is not shining, including blackouts.
